So far. At the moment, looking at the scores that people have accumulated from their battles. This doesn't look like this will be the #1 contenders match up at all.

What's it based on then? Popularity? lol... whats the point of having records/people doing so many battles if someone comes in an does one/two battles an skips ahead for a #1 contenders shot while the others have been duking it out longer then them?

It's based on the strength of certain battlers, their past battles, the margin they beat their opponents by.
Why else you think @Wizdumb got a #1 contender shot with a record of 1-0?

If it's based on only records I could just get my 5 next battles with easy opponents.

I'm not sayin it should be me, just sayin that's not how it's done. Look at actual battle leagues.

Well the only person with a decent record on here is @Enfinite and Fidel who I won against so AT LEAST consider @AfterThought vs Enfinite. Gotta Do sum... we need good matches for next month.

Number 1 contender is based off who's competed and deserves the shot. Not who's strength as a battler is better. If someone like Askari came back, does he automatically get that shot? Lol. That defeats the whole purpose.

Wow. He hasn't even gotten his first card done yet. LMAO. I thought it would have taken longer than THIS at least.

Edit:

Propensity to show for a battle.
Strength of previous opponent.
Skill set shown against that opponent.
Margin of win against that opponent.

All should be considered factors in making matches.

For instance, if I battle 2FUEL last month, and beat him by a LARGE margin, while displaying a strong battle presence, then I would likely move up in ranks, but, as he is not a top tier competitor, then I would likely, though while moving up, still be in the mid card range, until battling a stronger opponent.

The implementation of an individual scoring system which Fuel keeps track of would be a good idea, too. Outside of the records, I mean.

	Start a battle Audio or Text or Video Vote on a battle to earn +1 credit!
