Would it help if we gave lengthier deadlines for this one, let's say two weeks in between rounds, so that it doesn't conflict with the GC?

I'm extremely happy about this. I've wanted to participate in one of these for a long ass time. This is an especially good time to host it because the site is already abuzz with the GC, and topicals are usually fairly easy and quick to write so it won't interfere with the other tourney.
