i agree with just c, as far as track makers need to be allowed leeway etc.. but as much as duane making good ish under the crew banner, he 'never' once showed up in our crew forums to interact at all with anyone, and as much as dope heads in any element of hiphop, whether it be text or audio, make a crew 'look' good.. AC'S dont work that way, with fancy bookmarks that are there for decorations... and not want to interact or communicate 'as crew mates' for discussions or what have you..so as much as it may have been a mistake to let go good audio heads, it is what it is,.. but lets not turn this thread into an excuse to crew bash. i was takin off guard by just c being let go, which is disappointing because your one of the more intelligent members of the site..but AC members are 'active' not only by battling but by communicating and being active wit crew related activities...

@Just C, but why come over in the first place? You were pretty aloof form square one, so what inspired you to make the move at all?

We all decided as a crew that we wanted to look active at all times. ACs was started as an elevation crew after all, and activity is a big part of elevation. It was to be fair a tough as fuck decision at the time, but as I said, I'm confident that if the guys come back, they'll be ACs again so it's no harm, no foul.

@ILLoKWENT, yeah I probably should have made that case. Dirty Work was gone for a while, but he let us know why and it wasn't a problem. When guys just disappear, you kind of assume that's it. They're gone. If they come back, cool, jump back into the crew. If not, then it doesn't make the crew look inactive. If say ILL said to me today "I'm going to be gone for a few months guys", I'd be like "No problem man" and nothing would change. As long as they guys communicate with the crew, it's fine.

And to be fair, Duane and me talked a good bit in chat about the crew and different things. He didn't hit the forums often but he was still into it all.

Because I took a long break from being in a crew, I was asked and you were active @Agonize. I was never really going to be active. I've done my battling ect. I don't see why that should stop someone being part of a crew. it's a bit of an overly serious and shallow take on what being in a crew is about. I think you guys are sound people and thats enough for me to be in and enough for someone to be in a crew with me. if i fuck with you the rest is an added bonus.
