It's true on my part. I'm jealous as fuck. I've had plenty of slug slaps over the vision of some female prison gangbanging.

I don't wear tracksuits or hoop earrings @ EtH , I'm talking about standard jeans, vans / high tops and a jacket / jumper whatever, you don't even need to be over the top about it, it's not an extremist thing. Why can't you accept that profiling and stereotyping is actually wrong and that police are not allowed to do it? I studied law and know the grounds on which police ARE ALLOWED to search you, and because of the way you dress is AGAINST THE LAW they are NOT allowed to do that, yes they do do that for many reasons and yes it's common sense but what I'm saying is, it is WRONG and they are not suppose to do it, and corrupt police officers is what the thread was initially about.

Have you never heard of criminal profiling? Would you consider it WRONG of a criminal profiler to make a case of a criminal's most likely psychological state, appearance and likely locations because it is WRONG of them to judge someone?
Appearance IS a fair thing to build a suspect on. The reason stereotypes exist is because that was a likely scenario. The youth in the hoody is being stereotyped over the elderly woman as being the one suspected of mugging someone. Is that really an unfair thing? We all understand why it is happened, yet you have a huge problem with it? That kid might not be connected at all, but are the police really doing any harm by taking him in and going over the facts? No one is getting charged without evidence. They are just going over the most likely suspects, and the teenagers dressing a certain way ARE the likely suspects.
Right this second, I'm wearing a hoody, trackies, nike air max, chain over my T-shirt, sovereign. I'm not gonna be offended if I'm the one who gets pulled over instead of a dude in a shirt and tie, because understand why it's happening. If I was in the cops situation, I would do the exact same thing.
Profiling someone based on their appearance isn't corrupt. Charging them without evidence, breaking conduct, making derogatory remarks IS corrupt, but just stopping them and following procedure is not.

Why do you keep repeating yourself without listening to what anybody else is saying? The police DO stereotype and profile bla bla, we've agreed on that they DO do that this whole thread. What i'm saying is, whether it's helpful to police or logical or whatever, it's WRONG and they are NOT suppose to do it. And if you ask the police why that have stopped you, which you have every right to do, they will never admit it's because of how you are dressed, even though it is they will come up with some other reasons, for example;
I was driving around 4am in the morning, with a car full of people, we weren't playing loud music because obviously in the UK that's illegal in housed areas after 11PM. The police pulled us over, it was clear because it was a group of young people, we asked them why, and they said there had been a huge robbery at SCAT College (the college I went to) so he needed to check I didn't have anything, so answer me this, if that were the reason, why did he then breathalize me? He says it's under suspicion of robbery.. what has that got to do with drink driving?
All I was saying is stereotyping is wrong and that aren't allowed to do it.

It's wrong because you think it's wrong? They won't admit it because it's opening them up to annoying ridicule that they don't need to deal with. They can just say "We stopped you because we did, that's all".
To be honest, the cop stopped you because he was bored. I was walking home at 3am a few months back on a Tuesday. Wasted from a night of drinking. Cops stopped me and searched me for drugs. Really, they were patrolling and seen an opportunity to pass some time. It didn't harm me, as I in fact didn't have drugs on me, just as it didn't harm you to breathalyse you. Worst case scenario? You aren't drunk, they ensure there isn't another drunk driver on the road, you have some minor incontinence. Best case scenario? They find a drunk driver and potentially save some lives.
Also, for all you know you could have been driving all of the road. Female and all that...
Cops learn about criminal profiling when they are training. That is a more accurate way to say stereotyping. They do not get in trouble in any way shape or form in stopping only kids in hoodies, and they will never be called up about it. They ARE allowed to do it because it's an effective technique to counter crime.

Are you actually reading what I'm saying? It's wrong because it's legally wrong. Go and study law at college and then come back and finish this argument because you are incapable of listening to anybody else. It's wrong in the context that legally they are not allowed to do it.
