KG & Pierce the two highest paid Celtics right now..Pierce on his last year and a possible renewal for another more year but it's not guaranteed. KG has a remaining of two yrs in his contract. Together their annual salary comes to 27 million dollars..If Pierce's contract is not renewed then that's 15 mil extra available to spend. If it is, then Im sure we can trade em both for something in return given that a team can afford their contracts..Keep in mind that Pierce has been outstanding this season so he can be an instant key player for any team...Given that these two go then we have the space available to make an offer to Dwight with alot of money involved.

Pierce is good in his system. Not too many teams are trying to get older talent but develop new young players. I can't see either of them leaving the celtics and going anywhere worth while. Def not for how much the celtics paying them.

yea their high salaries is a bit of a problem but we'll see..Either way we need some younger all stars soon otherwise we won't be going far in the future

yea best case scenario trade them off for draft picks but I doubt many teams would be willing to take on there salaries alot of teams are gonna be doing a cap dump this off season either to go after dwight howard or to get out of the luxury tax
