I don't agree with child support either (different discussion). And I hate the argument, "it takes two to make a baby".. but bitch it only takes ONE to make that decision to KEEP it. I think everyone should be forced to be on some birth control shot and should only be allowed to have kids if they're stable! That'd fix a huge amount of the goddamn problems. Now I know people who have Rain's lifestyle. My neighbor has nothing wrong with him, he's just colorblind. But he is considered ''legally blind'' lol. So the dude gets money out the ass. He has numerous 4-wheelers, a bad ass basement with a ping pong table, pool table, big screen TV's, computers, huge stereo..

I have health issues (heart problem, and other things...) and I could EASILY collect a check. My job is difficult and pretty much anyone who gets fired or leaves there just gets unemployment. I could be collecting some fat cash and doing the same shit as Rain..

But how long will that last? It may eventually run out. And how am I suppose to look people in the eyes when I go out, huh? They can brag about their successful lives, then look at me and say ''what do you do?".. what am I suppose to say? "I'm a bum who collects a check"..

So anyone who says ''if you could collect a check, you would too, so stfu''... that's not true. I could collect a lot, but I haven't. I've worked since my teen years and I still am.
I make wise investments, stock market, spend wisely and being born into a pretty damn good family, I have a LOT of assets/savings in my name.

I earned my money man, and it feels damn good. No hate to Rain man, do your thing boy, but I just don't understand how someone could just sit back and feel proud of getting something they haven't earned...

We could all do it, but we choose not to because of the reprocussions of such an action. I think it was Swag who said it, but we all know what will happen if we get caught. It's your risk to take, and when the risk doesn't pay off you can't use your own decision as a reason to not get a job.

I got a job for a while there. It was on and off casual work. I was still able to stay on social welfare but they removed a day's pay every time I worked. This was cool, until I signed up to join a course. They give me 228euro on the course a week, and I was getting like 1 days work a week so I wouldnt be making that much. They wouldnt let me do the course if I had casual work. It was a computer programming course, and I'm signed up to do computer programming in college next year. Hanging lights in shops is hardly good experience for that, so I wasn't allowed to train what I'm good at because I worked 1 day a week. Also, I wouldn't be entitled to any grants doing casual work when I went to college. So now, just to study and even pay for college, I'm going to have to STOP working. Complete bullshit, but going to college and actually doing shit is a helluva lot better than having a going nowhere job with nothing at the end of it.

I was watching a programme the other day and these scrubs were complaining because they only got £1200 (1700$) a month FREE from the government (as well as a free house). Most people don't even get that from working a shop/restaurant type job 48 hours a week.
