Ok, so after looking @ the top 10 list.... an considering how long this has been stuck in stasis.... i'm looking for suggestions on how to pick it back up....

Far as I can see we need to revamp that last.... I know guys like Ticket are big names but he's just not active right now hasn't responded to my PMs about the battle... guys like Haz who I never see here....

UA said he's ready to get back in it.... so do we take off the inactive people on the list or just keep as is...?

Well. I think taking the in active names off the list and replacing them is definitely the way to go. That would be the first move to me. You got guys like Stricc and Biscuits who deserve a spot. They might not be as accomplished as the Tickets of the site, but it's about getting the shit active & for anything to be successful on here it needs active members, not big names and a shiny roster. That's what I'm thinking so far.

What do you think about taking the arranging of battles out of their hands?

This is just an Idea and I haven't fully thought it through how to make it work but I'm thinking we should arrange the match up's every week or 2 weeks. Give them a deadline of say a week to get the battle up for votes and who ever doesn't post gets replaced or moved down the rankings until they're off the contenders list.

Maybe make a No Show means you move down the rankings 2 spots instead of 1 or something like that. Just a thought.

agreed...... maybe if we arranged contenders matches ourselves but still gave the champ some extra leeway...

I always wanted this shit to boost activity.... thats why I agreed to it..... as far as givin up the title or w/e....

I'd like to keep as much as the format that we have as possible now just for the sake of consistency... don't want 2 confuse people....

But I think certain small changes need to be implemented as is it's not working... so I mean keep the list an shit... basic format but whatever else you wanna do is on you...

Aight well I'll just take @RevanS guidelines and make a few edits to it. I'm just going to need a little time to fully think it through because it's a little complicated when arranging the battles for the top 10 while still having to give the outsiders looking in an opportunity to get in on the action.

I know you said Tick isn't active but unlike the rest who I took off he does come online. And at least this way he cant say he wasn't given a chance.

Just to be sure though, I'll message him and let him know what I'm planning and try and get a definitive answer whether or not he's down or he wants taken off the list in which case I'll add a 4th contender match to the list. Again this isn't definate so let me know what you think. I'm just tryna come up with ideas and posting them in here so I can come back to them later.


1 last thing as far as arranging who sends and who receives in the proving ground battles I'm going to use our All Time or Monthly Ranking system. Who ever is lower than their opponent will be the sender.

As a plus at least in theory, probably won't make a difference but it could encourage people to battle more and get wins in general. And there isn't a down side I see.

At least half of the list are a wall right now........So possibly remove them and find the most active dope battlers to take the spot......or set up a few battles for the spots?
