Pretty much guys. He was a famous TV and Radio presenter for the BBC back in the 60's 70's and 80's as well a fund raiser who raised over £40 million for various charities over the years. He was basically untouchable due to his standing with the BBC and his charity work. Think the queen as the face of the Monarchy and you have the face of the BBC. He could do what he wanted and get what he wanted, such was his standing he was knighted Sir Jimmy Saville. His colleagues knew what he was up to, either through rumour, or witnessing first hand. But turned a blind eye because of his standing and power within the company, plus testaments of his bullying nature. Don't forget that this was also the 70's so rightfully or wrongly, sleeping with under age girls/groupies or w.e you want to call them, wasn't as big of a deal as it rightfully is today. he is also accused of abusing patients when he was working as a voluntary nurse in his home towns Hospital.

But yeah dozens and dozens of women (1 man) are coming out of the woodwork saying that he sexually abused them. That he used his celeb status to woo naive young girls. As well as colleagues finally coming out saying that it's true.

Just to put the accusations into perspective. 1 persons accusations along with her saying she approached then child care figure head and celebrity presenter Esther Ransen was confirmed by Esther herself, admitting that she TOO had suspected, but never perused it. And this is the face for Child Care lines to help abused children.

People can say accusations all they like. And given that he passed last year, and these abuses took place way back in the 70's. There never really will be a way to prove it. But given the recent revelations and how so many people have been coming out saying the things they have, and seeing hearing directly from the horses mouth (see above documentary) just how arrogant and full of shit he was. He's guilty as sin in my eyes.
