Interp is way off base saying handing your mixtape to a DJ is more nerve tacking than doing a "televised" live battle in front of a bating crowed and opponent under the beam of 1000 watt lights is FAR more nerve racking than that. And that's before you even get out there to spit, rehearsing, pre bout jitters. It doesn't even compare.

If I had the choice I'd much rather hand a mixtape to a DJ than live battle.

Khrymes battles arent "televised " with all this set up tho, he's battled in no name leagues that Look like their shot in grandmas basement, with like 6 people watching....headline GT or KOTD and id say that is prolly nervewrecking ....

and i HAVE put my music in the hands of a professional DJ, and i know the gut feeling you get knowing thats the one person you have to impress, a tape is the product of alot of time and effort, ntm sacrifice and emotion, a battle may be nervewreckin to some, personally to me, i dont find it nearly as nearly as nervewrecking as knowing "This man holds my future in his hands"...... luckily for me i recieved some of the best critique at times like that, and for anyone who has seen my music grow over the last few years, it is primarily based on what i learned from these experiences. ill never knock a live battler for battling, but you wanna be an emcee, ya Gotta GOTTA take certain, unavoidable steps.... these steps are where the real competition lives.....

& to set the record straight i in no way hate on battlers for what they do, but iv seen the preparation that goes into tapes, i have good homies who battle, and im always down to support them, BUT, those same homies crank out classics, as well as do live shows..... you need the track game, all im really saying....

& @ any voice/sound comments, its old, and ive gained a solid group of listeners, i'll be the first to admit my sound is unique , and as just put it "juggalo" like, LMFAO, .... wat can i say, I C P is a big part of why i started rapping, their concepts are AMAZING and they just have FUN with it...and thats all im really in it for, i just spit for the fun of it basically , if i make it Great!!
