I'm my own Savior - Lets Beef

I dont believe in God. I've literally stared my own death in the eyes and my soul left to wander this earth in human form. I dont answer to a higher power, so I dont have a higher power to lean on. No person or idea to have faith in. My support comes from my own soul. When troubled, i have no one to seek counsel. No hope that things will work out for the best. No comfort in knowing that once this is over, there is a heaven to relish. In my daily interractions with people, all i see is their weaknesses. Yet i never speak on it. My life is like a pet goldfish. I enjoy it to some extent, but when its over, i wont be sorry or even impacted. Granted, i wont be here, but the thought of that no longer affects me. When i do good, its not to gain the attention of an unseen God. When i do wrong, it's not hidden or guilt ridden due to God's watching eyes. I merely navigate myself through this earth using my own compass. I'm my own Savior.

personally i'm ignostic, i was raised catholic but always held strong doubt and now dbeing an adult i just can't perceive it the way that "they" paint it.
