I also think that not EVERYTHING should be turned into a race-thing. I just did some research and aparently his 'black friends' confirmed that he was a mentor to two 'black kids'. Don't see ANY ties with why he would be a racist.

Not everything is about race tbh. White on white and black on black crimes are more common, not everything should have 'RACIST' as the bottom line just because the crime involved is committed between 2 different races.

well, we know he violated parole by carrying a weapon. If hes such a decent human being why is he under watch for domestic violence and assaulting a police officer. If he can walk and has no blood on his clothes or face 4 hours after the alleged "beating" he took, then he had no fucking right to shoot a 17 year old kid in the chest with a deadly weapon. he was under no serious threat. hes a grown fucking man, use your common sense. Iv been following this case, and i agreed with the things youve said until recently released evidence. I understand you've been schooled to place trust in reason and evidence jason but open your fucking eyes

yea you're right. theres no way of knowing whether or not this was a race thing so its silly to go there. but, idunno if you know about florida's history with criminal injustice and police brutality amongst the black community but its somewhat of a touchy subject in the area.

also those charges of him assaulting a cop were dropped in their entirely because the cop was in plain clothes, didnt identify himself as a cop, and attacked zimmerman first

so like i said this story is way too uncertain to make any kinda conclusions about theguy

i agree with @Verity with the "Calling everything racist" thing... buuuuutttt... imagine if this was a black guy killing a white kid... you think they would have as much "patience" with the case as they do now??? they could have the same criminal history as zimmerman and i bet those same republicans would say "he's a cop beating criminal!!! he deserves to be in jail!!"

in fact... my homie from highschool got sentenced to like 20+ years in prison because of armed robbery or some shit like that and i think somebody got killed... i don't know the details... he was sitting in his car in the parking lot... and the guys ran off... the cops arrest him for sitting in the car and accused him of doing it!!! he spent a couple months in jail before his lawyer proved his innocence...

SKILLY I don't know about America, but in England.. i'll give you a couple of news breakdowns;

A 18 year old white boy (happened to be my cousin) got killed by a mixed race boy (black and indian) he got 14 years in prison.

A black boy, I THINK he was 17 got killed by a white boy.. the white boy got life (25 years) in prison, and got his sentence doubled for it being a 'racist' attack, so 2 life sentances (50 years) in prison.

Over here life doesn't mean life, it means 25 years, and you only REALLY have to serve half of that sentence anyway, but that's just 2 examples that have always stuck in my mind. I believe both killers should have been sent away for 25 years. That's why racism pisses me off, IMO most of the time it's arguments between PEOPLE, not arguments between RACES that are the problem, and our government (here) are quick to label that as racism, ultimately causing racial issues themselves.

If a white person kills a black person over here it gets publicised like mad and their sentences are a LOT harsher than when black people kill white people.

All should get the same, a life is a life despite the race of the person. But like I said I don't know what things are like over there, but here you're DEFF. more likely to hear about a white person killing a black person than the other way round, the black on white murders are kept a lot quieter. Saying that, my cousins case was all in the media a lot but that was because it was the year in which young people were getting killed all over london so they highlighted as many cases as they could
