The same shit with EJT's style changing is what happened to me. You can't be doing geeky text shit with parenthesis for your wordplays and hyphens to separate your multis, lmfao. You gotta actually sound it out..no hate to text heads, I obviously started comin up with text battles before transitionin to audio...but it's true, you can't do all that shit to help simplify complex verses and show multi breakdowns and whatnot..So you gotta work on your performance and delivery more than anything else..obviously you wanna keep the multis and punchlines..but the internal rhymes, the wordplays, etc etc..can't be broken down as easily in audio as they can in text.

That's the point that they were trying to make.
Text is a balance between the two. You have an opportunity to rethink both sectors, so why not go full blast with both? I feel, if you have more time to write a verse, it's an opportunity to fill it up with maximum potential. I know what you mean bro, but people are looking for creativity and complexity in the text box, because that's what makes it unique to audio battling. If everyone wrote an audio verse for the textbox, the text arena would be boring as fuck.
