No Show Penalization - Lets Beef

What do you guys think about penalizing members that no show official tournaments unless they have a legitimate reason?

Maybe they just are not allowed to enter the next tournament that make into to or want to enter. This work better especially on the official tournies they have to sign up for such as scheme,tag, topical..etc.

I wouldn't consider it to be infraction or ban worthy, but some form of penalty regarding future involvement could work. We just have to make sure people post on time by been strict with the amount of time they have to post. If its 3 days and it goes beyond that time, DQ & maybe no involvement in the next tournament that's taking place.

yea that sounds dope, that'll influence people to post and take out the ones that usually no show on a regular basis.

Yea I've already stated in my Invitational sign ups.

Now this is important so please read before you sign up.

If I see that you have been logging on when you are supposed to be dropping your verse and you no show. You will not gain Entry into the Following tournament. This I promise you as I will be taking the names of any no shows. Beleive me. I won't forget.

So either write and post or if you don't have time to write drop a half assed freestyle which will take you no longer than 60 seconds tops. I don't care how busy you are if you have time to surf and troll the site you have time to post a 60 second freestyle. You have no excuses.

People should have no excuses this way.

But even for regular official tournaments. There is no excuse for no shows. Like dosage in my topical tournament and a few others, waited 4 rounds in to start no showing verses.

You just need to make it known that in no uncertain terms that if they no show they will not have the pleasure of taking part in the next tournament.

1 no show = no entry in the Next 1

That will be enough. They'll soon fall into line.

Aslong as you make it clear in the sign up's. They can have no legitimate complaints.

It's a little easier for me as I'm running the Audio side and there REALLY IS no excuse for no showing a 60 second battle

It will be a tad more complicated for you guy's being Text as they will have no choice but to spend a good chunk of time writing if they want to avoid a no show.

You can post it there. Also Rule can post 1 in his Text tourney Section as a Sticky
