Yeah Huey got it, I don't know if X would know of it but if GT promoted LB for an event the amount of sign ups, most likley talented rappers or battlers (or at least potential ones), would sign up. The amount of text battlers alone woul significantly rise.

yo....to be honest..i can see why live battlers take the internet shit lightly...i havent ever battled live before...and just preparing for my first shit is ALOT more intensive than an 8 line text battle....there are so many different aspects to doing it live that its not even a comparison to a text or even audio internet battle....

You gotta remember though, text battling is not the only aspect of this site. There are way more areas of battling that can be easily advertised. Seeing as to how much talent is on this site and how this site is worldwide, why wouldn't GT take advantage of an affiliation. From a business perspective, it would be stupid not too. That's just me though.

Honestly, alotta GT heads frown on the LB shit but I guarantee a good portion of GOOD/GREAT status battlers used the internet as a platform.
The dudes that woke up one day and said "hey, I wanna rap battle"..are the ones that suck, and you can tell.
I'm sure alot of good battlers in any live league got their start on some type of website. If you listen to some of these dudes rhyme schemes, syllables, multis....That's the kind of elevation you get from rapping every fucking day in freestyle cyphers(and those days are long gone, thats 90's early 2000 shit) ...OR...they've tried their hand at the online thing.
It could be the simplest shit like having rap battles on MSN or Yahoo to shit like Letsbeef & Brick City.

Live battling heads might feel as if even associating with something online-battling related will set them back in their agenda. idk if ya'll get what im sayin.
