Totally agree. I'm an old school dude man. I've been into hip hop since the late 80s. I've seen the glory days - The NWAs, the BDP, the Native Tongues, The Wu, Big, Pac, Nas, Jay u name it. The shit that gets bumped these days is a clear indication that money and marketing takes precedence over creativity. In order to hear that element that's missing u gotta turn off the radio and the BET and search 4 wat u want online. Dude is right that u can't compare. U just gotta understand there's different categories for different purposes and make your decision either to embrace it or dismiss it and find wat u really dig
