Should the block button work both ways?
If I block someone from voting on my battles, should that also block me from voting on that person's battles?
Generally people block others because they believe those people to be voting against them for reasons other than how they rate their bars against someone else's in a given verse. In most cases thos is due to a perceived "hate vote" even if that perception is skewed.
People on the site are generally emotional and if they believe someone to be hate voting against them they likely will retaliate. At that point almost anytime the blocker votes on the blockees battle, we can assume some level of bias will be involved that dismisses the verses and acts on feelings about a battler.
I posit then again, of someone uses the block button should that person also not be able to vote on the blocked battlers battles?

It seems fair, but at a time when votes seem to be at an all-time low, finding new ways to make it easier for people to block each other and potentially reduce the votes even more isn't the most exciting thing I'd like to explore personally although I agree that people on here are generally emotional especially when it comes to votes.
This Convo reminds me of a post I read a while back where someone complained about a staff member who voted on somebody's battle when that battler would have preferred them not to but was unable to block said staff member. A similar question can be asked in that scenario. Should someone who is unblockable due to their usergroup (FVC or staff) also be unable to block other people? Whatever you guys decide, the same logic should probably be carried into other areas as well.

^Actually that scenario you read is when the mod also couldn't block the user due to a site glitch, so it was made mandatory that the user was no longer allowed to vote on the mod's battles and that the votes would be manually removed.
But then the mod decided to vote back on their battles, meaning that the manually enforced rule only worked one way.
You then defended this happening for some odd reason.
