What's up with these text battles and why are they trash? Multis will never win you a battle in a rap battle, maybe in a freestyle battle. If we look at all the rap battlers, disaster, daylyt, hollow, tsu turf, arsonal, pat stay etc. Its about burying your opponent with barz not rhyming at them lol.

Lol in LB text battles it is all about multi rhymes, wordplay, setups and punchlines. If you don’t like the style, try the audio arena and maybe drop a freestyle. If you wanna text battle you gotta get with the program or you will get crushed every time. It’s a process of learning/growing and elevating your skills in order to really become an effective text battler. That’s just my two cents.

Yeah I'm all about wordplay, setups and punchlines, but multis should never be the focus of a rap battle lol

Some think that multi-syllable rhymes are what wins battles. Those who do are what we would refer to as 'idiots'.

When you use wordplays, set ups and punchlines with multis, it certainly adds to the bar(s) than opposed to rhyming one syllable in the bar(s).

We often get new users to focus on using multis as their first step in elevating because it’s much easier to learn than how to write punchlines and wordplays. This can make it seem like the priority is multis, but that isn’t the case once people get some experience.

We often get new users to focus on using multis as their first step in elevating because it’s much easier to learn than how to write punchlines and wordplays. This can make it seem like the priority is multis, but that isn’t the case once people get some experience.

Fully agree ive seen so many people vote saying "he won because he had a better flow" when what I think they mean is it was easier to follow because I didnt have to go back and think about the punchline.

You do have to use multies but in a battle where both are using multies but only one is using punchlines it should be an auto win to the guy with punches lol

I get what you're saying here but also... it is the writers job to ensure that the readers understand what is being said. As there are a few who are under the impression that they've dropped some hard hitting/complex stuff when in reality it's just a complete shit show.

When someone has to drop an Expo nearly as long as their battle to explain what they're talking about...they've already lost... lol

Facts. I dont know whats with the multis thing. They dont care about that in real life battles. Dizasters does try to do that tho at times. Idc tho I never write focusing on multis. If u gonna focus on my multies more than if the actual punch is great or not than so be it
