EDIT: This is also linked to the Khan al-Assal chemical attack, which bore parallel unique hallmarks and was determined by US investigation to be carried out by the syrian government. Despite the syrian government & opposition relentlessly blaming each other for the attack, neither of them taking credit.

its a well known fact he used chems before, ..what im saying is this particular incident just doesnt make sense for him to use it again, knowing full well it will turn even more countries against him.not to mention , why use it when he already has upper hand..

There's other proof that he didn't do it the first time too. Not saying he never would or that he wouldn't but there's a few good vids with an alternative narratives you can find if interested.

I think you're right for Assad to attack now seems dumb and counter productive. As far as point 1 goes I think that's possible for sure as well as your second point but the 3rd one is far fetched. The Trump investigation was just a cover. He's been being surveilled since Bush.
