I've always liked diz rapping ability, when he is on his shit...almost unstoppable.
Able to bounce back with dope freestyles, puts so much emotion into battles, but he is a cry baby haha. Still a dope emcee.

Only in the sense that I occasionally watch one of the battles. Mostly, that's Bender because of the multies and re-watching old Doms battles because he's the dude that got me into this shit in the first place. Diz is a good 70% average filler, like in his Chilla battle he had an almost 2 minute long scheme just to end the punch with "put zig zags on your head like riff raff." That's the type of shit I was doing around '13, just rhyming a bunch of shit just to show I could rhyme it and ending it off with a terrible punch. It sounds good to the person writing it, but its trash when you break it down, like most of his bars. I think his performance is what makes people think he is dope, and that's okay because passion is a definite factor but when you're 70% passion 30% bars its meh at best to me.

Sure diz has some amazing punches under his belt, everyone does.. its about being able to consistently battle with those bars and not use them every now and then.

He's not 100% correct. I mean Real deal whose white got the most love in the rookies vs vets not too long ago. Soul khan did the same vs fox & some other guy on url. Charron 3-0'd Suge. Everything you just said can be directly translated to the real issue behind what Diz was saying.. you have to adhere to the pigeon holed bias of the crowd or you get booed so hard you can't even spit your shit. That's bullshit, and a great example of how even doing the best thing for battling (letting crowds call some of these fuckboys out for their shit) can still be a fucking trainwreck.

While I agree with the crowd being able to boo a pussy like Day for recycling his shitty bars against Pat or when one of these snakes has to sneak around and check their phone, when you stop people from rapping just because the content is something you dont particularly like you have too much power as a consumer, imo.
