We should get the ball rollin on this...the chatbox is iight, but its limited to members...& the tinychat is a great tool thats so under utilized & it has a directory, so it can bring in new ppl that arent a part of LB already.

So I was thinkin, why not host a different thing every day? Or at least every other day?

'Cypher Saturdays'... 'Freestyle Fridays'... 'Wednesday Warfare' idk just goin with some corny names that have a ring to it

point is, the shit gets used 1 day a week and thats Saturday..and random times throughout the week when we're able to get more than 2 ppl in there

We should even implement a Tinychat Battle League with a ladder/leaderboards similar to LBA etc etc

& Im sayin this because of my experience w/ another tinychat rap room that a lot of ya'll are familiar with...i went in there the other day and these dudes are 10x nicer than they were when I was active in the chat 2-3 yrs ago. its good practice

Totally agree. And the more active we are in there the easier it is to get outsiders involved. I think it helps to possibly get a few more people in there as mods. There are times when a couple dudes want to get in but neither can play beats. If we added a couple more guys that were in there semi regularly it might help.

NOBLE and I were just talking about a TinyChat league in similar fashion to the LBT/LBA/LBTT and we're most likely going to set-up something official over the next few weeks (Shouldn't take that long actually) but yeah this is a good idea.

In the meantime if you guys want to set-up your own battles that'd be cool. I'll try to be in there more often. Hit up @NOBLE to get a TinyChat mod spot.

Personally I prefer to use tinychat as a place to cypher and free over beats. Something I cant really do on other parts of LB.

Not saying battles there couldn't be dope. Just saying we shouldn't overlook that aspect as well as hosting battles.

Personally, I'd prefer to battle over Tinychat.

It's a live performance. what beats that? It takes preparation & being able to win over an audience. it's the closest to a real, live battle as it gets.

It's definitely a good idea to utilize the live chatroom more. Especially since the site is moving more towards live battles, it's a good idea to have a place to cultivate and see potential members who would be good for that. Tinychat could be sort of our equivalent of the "Proving Grounds" that so many other battle leagues have. There are quite a few members like @stricc and @Phil Banks who started off ruling the tinychat before they went on to do live battles, etc. Tbh, we can get a paid live video chatroom that's even better than tinychat but it would only be worth making that investment if people will utilize it. It'll take people who are willing to be dedicated hosts which will entail doing all or most of the work in getting other people to participate on whichever day you're hosting. That's why I've asked who would like to host their own tinychat programs throughout the week. It's one one thing to say we should use tinychat on more days. It's another thing to step up to the plate and BE the one who makes it happen on those other days. If anyone is willing to step up, I'm willing to do what I can to help, whether its giving you mod access in there or helping to spread the word.

I've had the TC bumping a few weeks here, and there. @Phil Banks there were nearly, what, 23 members in there just two weeks ago? So, the sample size isn't too small, at all, really.
