Just curious, how does the voting system work?
I've lost a few battles even though I had more votes, and even if it was a clear win.

Each voter has their own unique amount of voting power which can be raised or lowered at any time by staff.

It's to encourage quality voting and discourage, buddy voting, hate voting, self voting and lessen the impact less educated voters have on battle outcomes (due to prior head scratching voting, though entirely innocent and out of ignorance) whilst they up their knowledge on battling.

Yeah it's not perfect.

But no matter what you do you're going to have problems.

With this system in place you lost this battle.

With another you would have won this battle but would have lost others, potentially a lot more.

I dunno I only have like 7-8 clear losses in my opinion to a couple grand champions and from bleu never going first, but my opinion doesn't matter in this case. The other 20 something losses I'm still puzzled about. You have people rapping a cypher verse, and you got people throwing punches, wordplay, multies, battle bars. Cypher still wins because 50% of the people never seen a rap battle before so they go for the dude talking about rolling blunts fatter than me, and how much more money they have than the other person.
