I had something like this happen to me a few weeks ago, said i needed to update my password. Changed password and alls good to go.

This seems as though you're being informed that your current password is linked with another site login? Not entirely sure to be honest. Its odd.

Its not odd.

If your password is c@bbag3s, all its saying is "Recently a bunch of passwords got leaked online and c@bbag3s is one of them".

Did you change your password to something you use elsewhere? You should really only use a password on one site. If it's too hard to remember them all there are a lot of good password managers out there that can help with that. Firefox actually has a really good one built in, as does chrome. IDK about safari if that's what you're using but I would assume there are at least a few good add ONS that would work

It means your email & password combination were breached so I'd change your email password first and then your password here / anywhere else you used the same password with the same email.
