correcting unfair votes
I think mods should be the only ones voting with say like a 12 credit a day allowance to active users. this will solve the people getting hated on and also increase the amount of battles. im sure some of you agree, if you like this idea let us know your opinion or if u dont say why and maybe an alternate solution. thanks. -G

So 5 people can vote out of the whole site. Great idea. In fact, can we make this dude admin? We need him implementing his genius immediately.

With activity as it is currently this is feasible but if and when it does pick back up this is basically going to become impossible. There'd be no way to keep up with all the battles to vote on. Not to mention that there is, as far as I'm aware, currently no way to see EVERY open battle running.

I think, realistically, the highest number of battles we'd ever see on LB would be in the 3 digits. And with multiple mods(5-6) there should be no reason for every one of these battles not having at least one mod vote.
Edit:
This post is not an advocation of OP's idea. Just a separate, but, partially related point.

This is a bad idea for several reasons, first and foremost being that only the opinions of about 5-6 people in the entire site would matter in battles. Secondly, just because someone is a mod does not necessarily mean they they are the best voter out there or even that they are a good voter at all. I've seen mods who were shitty voters. Third, LB mods are volunteers. They are not paid to mod the site...they do this out of love. Like anyone else, they don't love every battle. They love only the good ones, which are few and far in between. Expecting them to read/listen and vote on shitty battle after shitty battle (which the vast majority of battles are) every single day is not sustainable. They will get burned out and you will see a high turnover rate among staff.

the mods can b looked over by a 1 level higher sayin maybe 2 higher people n get at least one mod vote on a battle, i just picture mods doing fair votes. id hold them to that standard though. but daily credit allowence would b up to them. but as it stand votes are deffinitly not proffesional or looked over. getting hated on just makes people leave the site. why stick around to lose battles you obviously win.

Because battles are subjective and you are usually the most biased person when it comes to your own battles. Most of the time if you lose it is deserved. If a vote is obviously bogus bring it up to a mod. If they agree it's dumb they can delete it. If you feel you need a mods vote on a battle, ask directly. Most are good at accommodating.

having to tell a mod of unfair vote is still their opinion no proving it even if u just voted against the person who voted against u. your right mods should accomadate a couple votes. b nice if they go thru the battles i listen to every battle sept writtens can u get mods to go thru a little more thoroghly n vote least 1 mod a battle that should work.

Check my voting history. I make a point of voting on the bad ones. I think they're the ones that need it the most. That said, your point stands otherwise. I'm the exception to the rule on that one.
