Week 2 Topic-

Moses Rap School

Relax, have a seat, stand up, introduce yaselves, this is the start of understanding how to vote and recognize whats a good line, understanding the basics, understanding what it takes to be recognized as a great mc...

this is the next step in really elevating, letting go of the ego and realizing that theres always room to improve.

Each week you will be givin a concept and have a deadline to meet (3days) to post 4 lines that all pertain to the concept at hand. I (and my assistant teacher) will rate your verse on the following categories from 1-10 and then find the mean score.

You will start as a freshman and work your way up to Senior, once you graduate you will receive a 32 lines from me and scoring atleast 35 percent of the votes you get to be the new assistant teacher.


Week 1

Week ones example is from one of the greats of all time, I like how he uses extra set of multis using like to construct a Veteran bar, these are also the categories you will be judged on...

1.flow,2.multis,3.wording,4.wordplay,5.punches,6.r eadability7.Last but not least RELEVANCE


This weeks focus is starting simple, alot of you dont know how to make a punch without putting the word LIKE in it... So this week we will keep it simple, by using the word like I want you to extend on the multi after the punch....

see how he extended on the multi instead of leaving it at Broad your in love with he extended it with thought she was stunning to add impact to the punch, everyone loves wordplay but a nice solid punch with great wording and build can go a long way. Now normally I would focus on having the entire punch relate as a whole, but for week one lets work on the build,multis, flow, and extending on the word like.

If you miss one class without a doctors note (meaning you werent active for that entire week) you will be expelled and someone else will take your spot.
Suspensions- If you act up, argue, dispute the teacher in anyway that isnt appropriate then you will be suspended for 2 weeks or possibly expelled. Opinions are welcome, but excessively will not be tolerated, youre here to learn.

With that said week one starts today.. you will have 3 days to post a 4 lines on week ones topic. deadline is 12 midnight 7/24
