I don't mean Horus in particular, but yes he is amoung them. I had a video I scoped on youtube a while back but they took it down (wonder what religion youtube is lol). I'll see if I can find it.

How about this for a good philososphy (something I'm planning to write a topical on soon)...
This perfect place in which the bible speaks of; Heaven, actually being the world we live on today. The kingdom of god being here and now. Instead of people looking forward to an afterlife, why not enjoy this life its the last one youll ever have? That way you are guarenteed at least one good life.

The bible is about a bunch of people thousands of years ago using a deity to explain the world around them. We no longer need it. god is dead.

At base, that's what religion is. A thought school that tries to define the world around it. Take any religions, that's is base, the search for understanding.
And the "well, I know so" argument is the worst one ever created.

Im not sure what i am.
But there could be a million reasons why we live today. Whether this is the only life we will lead, or not, i believe we were put here for a reason. By science, or a religious miracle.
My opinion is... Science > Religious Studies.
BUT... I also believe, Once you decide something is "Perfect", then you have given up on it. So, if there is a "God", he/she thought his/her creation was perfect & decided to abandon us all; thus the reason why evil drowns the planet.
Or... He/She is still working on the project of making the world "Perfect".
Iunno, i aint really into all that biblical shit

Im not sure what i am.
