oh man reading that made me remember when I had my shit laptop, been using a $1300 set up built by me for a while and it's just borderline flawless, can cosign logicalincriments as well as pcmr.

I spent $1600 on a pre-built, knowing that I was wasting my money, because I was too lazy to put one together.

It IS a pretty fucking dope rig, though. Before you ask:

Dude, if anyone tell you to drop more than 800 for a PC and you're a beginner, spit on them. I paid 450 for mine and this shits flawless. Looks great and performs great. I'll post my specs once I'm on PC to give you an idea of what you'd look for. I usually play GTA V on PC and that's a HUGE game. A modded version pretty much doubles the size or more.

My PC gaming history is; Space Invaders, Doom, Some Little Air/Land/Sea Racing Game, Space Pinball, Minesweeper, The Sims 1, Age of Empires Rome Demo, Age of Empires 2, Age of Empires 3, Commandos 2, Pizza Syndicate, Revolution Revolt, World of Mixed Martial Arts 3, World of Mixed Martial Arts 4, Football Manager 2016.

Yea Punk is in the right ball park. You can build something that will last for his price if you get some good deals. You only need to spend an ass load if you plan on playing on the absolute max setting 4k res type max frames all that jazz. If you just want your games to run and be smooth you dont have to spend anything over like 6-700 USD.
