There definitely needs to be some more clarification and tinkering with the awards system. I went back and handed out a tonne of awards that had been missed out for the monthly top emcees back to about 2015 I think.

It would be good if we could remove awards as well as give them. Then for example when you get the '9 Years In' award we could remove the '6 Years In' one, same with the battle awards. This would go a little way in stopping the awards just becoming a cloud of logos.

I remember going through them from 2006-2016 I believe, I thought I got them all. Either way, yeah it's needs to be paid attention to more.

You can remove awards, you delete them in the modcp > awards system / delete from user.

Plus I firmly believe a huge reason the FVC hasn't worked out is on top of giving people a colored name, it's italicized and they get a user title. The "incentive" is way too much for people and they bullshit their way in there just to be "different". If it's only an award, it'll be less gaudy and if they're able to move the awards and show the top they want to show in the forums, they could put that somewhere in there. Thinking like "Current FVC Member" or something.

Just brainstorming, on another note the FVC name needs to die. Good Vote Squad, Elevated Voters Clique, etc. I don't know, something else to distinguish it from the past incarnations.

NOBLE's approach worked the best imo but it needs to be refined as well, look at previous history, really research voting habits and patterns.

Voters Clique Reformed (VCR) is the best I can come up with. But honestly I like the name as is.

I won't say where the ones I've laid are as this site is in the Rohan-IRL troll era but if you search the town a few miles down the road from where I live and look in the woods you'll see the one I've laid. Actually the name is ironic considering what I've just said. I have another one in the same woods but it's been disabled as the cache has gone missing, meaning to replace it. Good walk for the kids, and the disabled cache is in a location with an incredible view.

My name has been posted on the forums a few times in the past few years. If I see it in future I'll delete it but I haven't bothered to search past threads and delete any mentions of it. There are members that have found out my name but as above I'd rather keep it private.
