True, but why would a company pay you to port their product when they can just do it themselves and cut out the middleman?

Here's the thing Lizman. If you can find a way to make it efficient so people will want it, feel free.
But there are obstacles.
1. You have to convince the company it's more efficient for them to pay you to port their product for them.
2. Most apps and whatnot are already ported to multiple systems. Those that aren't are usually being held back from the market as a conscious decision.
I simply don't see why someone would pay you to host and rewrite their program when they can do it themselves.

Well Done
You Finally Asked An Essential Question
1. I Have Never Said That I Will Request Payment From Any Company To Port Their Products
2. If One Company Ports Their Products For Another Operating Systems, Only That Company's Products Will be Available To A Number Of People; Those People Most Likely Being The Dedicated Fan Base Of The Established Products Of The Company
3. Now, If I Promise A Company Industry Wide Exposure, No Matter If It A Phone Or/And App/Game Developer Establishment, Not Only For The Market They Are Targeting But To People They Would Normally Not Consider In Their Spectrum Of Market Niche, It Is Quite Likely That They Will Agree To Join This Program, ESPECIALLY If They Are Companies That " are just trying to live up to the iPhone".

Intresting, but
1. Where are you going to get the money to start this up.
2. Where is your revenue stream?
3. Once again, most Iphone/Android apps are on multiple platforms already, I don't see a huge need to have your program. It seems to me like you are doing all of the dirty work without making any money in the end.

Anything other than an iPhone. The iPhone just offers pretty much everything all the others do. Bbm being the only major difference but what's app pretty much dealt with that problem. My personal opinion is that the iPhone is the best of them all, that's why I bought one.

Yeah... Its 2012... And Android Is....Yeah
Thats Cool Though That You Are That Passionate About Your iPhone.
I Myself Have Always Liked Apples Products (Not To Blow My Own Horn Here But I Predicted The iPhone 1 Year Before It Came Out) But The Only Thing I Don't Like That Much Is All The Ridiculously False Claims That Apple Came Out With (Especially Regarding Sales And Specs).
What I Really Want To Know Is WHAT EXACTLY DOES The iPhone Offer That, In Your Opinion, No Other Phone Offers. I Personally Know The Answer But I'd Really Like To Hear The Views To That From Another Person.
