I'm with you tho... I don't look at Common as a diss track type of emcee. He's good when he does it, but it's not his thing.
Cube and Drake.... as far as I know that's everyone he went at.
How many motherfuckers did Cube diss? Everyone in NWA, Common, Cypress Hill...
How many motherfuckers did Pac go after? Mobb Deep, Nas, Biggie, The Fugees, etc etc etc....
I see both sides of the coin.... and on both sides Drake gets murked and we all move on.

c/s the bolded, but in regards to the red; Do you know Common personally? How do you know it's "not his thing?" As far as I'm concerned, Common bodied the battle-hardened Cube...and that was the man who made "No Vaseline!" So just because nobody has tried Common except for Cube doesn't mean it's not necessarily his thing..
Only thing I fault Common for going at this blatantly soft nigga for being blatantly soft but yet not going at niggas in the past for it? Nigga been in the game 20 years, he know he could have gone at some of these other hip-pop R&beats previously if this was all about beef. But he know this shit finna earn some sales lol.
But fuck what the reason is, we need some good beef in hip-hop. Common put a new nigga ain his place, and Drake gets a chance to prove himself a man. Win-win for hip-hop.
