Why Do People Bite in the Tourny?

I mean seriously, not only is it the time to get yourself noticed, so basically putting all of the nice lines your wrote to the test and making them worth something, but it's the time when all the big names go around and check your battle, and if your biting nice lines, they are most likley from a big battle, which big names would have checked. We have had like 5 so far have we? A few you might expect, obviously dizz was a shock to everyone, (unless, he actually did just remember them word for word lmao), but any idea why they would do it just in this specific time?
