it will not go supernova.

It'll expand to red giant, and then shrink to white dwarf.

nope eventually all hydrogen will run out and every star undergoes super nova. Whenever the Sun turns completely 'iron' it will 'boom' and eventuall cool down to a white dwarf.

Another possibility of us dyin is if Bettleguese also goes supernova. The earth will be exposed to large amount of gamma rays and if that happens pretty much we all fucked

Bettlegeuse gases will not reach 640 light years in distance hitting Earth.

When the day comes, could be a millions of a years away.

We will get a nice fireworks display (like the crab nebula when it went into super nova).

Thats about it...

Naw a supernova would need to be within 25 light years in distance to reach us.

When the Crab Nebula went off, it was visible during the day time for a day.

The most we'll get is to be able to see it for a week and will remain visible longer.

Find out and read the facts.

People are so fixiated on how the world will end in 2012, so they search for fabricated science and interpretations etc etc to try and prove that it will.

Instead of looking up and seeing how it won't with the facts behind. Most of the stories about dooms day etc. are money grabs, because people will listen when scared. doesn't mean there listening to the truth.
