Exhibit A posts freestyle as an open. Exhibit B accepts the open and uses a written. Exhibit B usually gets dq'd if its a win. Same thing should happen with written opens that are posted. Too many times have we had verses wasted by people who freestyle not at the level of the written and it just makes for shitty battles.

the reason for the auto loss is because they are making an advantage for themself by writing instead of freeing

but I agree with Khryme.. The reason a person will get DQ'd for writing against a freestyle is because they are putting the battle at an unfair advantage..

Now I know I'm not mistaken, when the OP said... posting a free against a written should be an auto loss...

Shinobi... your saying it makes for a shitty battle & I'm sure black agrees.. So how would this change the fact that the battle sucks?... It wouldn't.

If you wanted the battle deleted and the member to get a warning.. that would make more sense..... but that's still never going to happen.... just like sniping. I've wrote plenty of sick verses that have been sniped in text and audio, but even I, as a mod... have never complained or deleted the battle cuz I felt it was wack...

It's just somethin' yall have to deal with to be honest... That's the consequence of posting opens... if you don't want that to happen then send private battles.

No sir, I believe your battle against Slypro is the reason you can't fuck with the audio side. As I said a million times already, its not about who wins. I'm sure other lyricist agree with me when I say " I ain't here for easy wins, I want a dope battle." I do my part and hold my own, why do I deserve less from my competition? The funny thing is I have homies who had heard my battles and just think everyone else is as garbage as some of these dudes. So in a way these cats are the ones representing the level of talent on this site. As for what Ticket was saying, I get what you are saying about them most likely losing, so why enforce an auto-loss? Here's why: its a deterent. If a person knows its an official rule they will most likely think twice and either write a response or leave it for the next mc. Just like ppl commit crimes even though there are laws, it stills serves as a reminder that there's a consequence . So to reiterate: we want more dope battles. ( it takes two) remember how y'all cancled the tourney cuz you said you didn't want a bunch of bums in it? You needed sick battles to boost moral. We are saying the same shit, but in different occasions. So Krime (whatever the fuck your name is this week) stop being a fucking hater for once in your life.
