Crews didn't exist, there was no limit at all to how many lines you could battle with. ie; You could send me 16 lines, and I could reply with 80 lines..The audio battles were shit, video battles nonexistent, Track uploading nonexistent, voting system was far from dickrider-proof, easier to cheat, EVERYTHING.
When ReBirth came (v3) LB got a whole new look. That crew system totally changed EVERYTHING. EVERYBODY was loving it, the site was in its prime around '07 I'd say, and that was because it was relatively new.
But like all things, shit has to get old and go thru the aging process...I think v3's ...4-5 year run was a good one, but they need to roll in the new features
& Tbh even with new features (We keep getting new features all the time now) the site will still be dead. What it needs is a COMPLETE revamp.
Revamp the My Emcees, add more Emcees. Fix the crew battling, CHANGE THE SITE'S COLOR THEME & UPGRADE VBULLETIN(Believe it or not I think this'd make a HUGE difference in terms of activity) Roll in the new Exclusive Membership perks, and maybe make a VIP membership, that costs MORE than Exclusive... but you can battle for $$$ and win $$$ tourneys...That'd be some shit huh
