Eminem WAS awesome, back in 2000-2002. He got kinda old after that, and I personally, stopped listening to him in '02.

I'm more of a Nas fella, myself.

that was the first thing i thought when i saw this thread... rap isnt about imitating anyone.. its about finding and creating your own flow to produce real music and discuss real issues.

listen to some Public Enemy or KRS One, you'll see what im talking about.

Leave em's style alone and create your own... or you'll be looked at as just another eminem clone (for example Asher Roth and YelaWolf)

LOL @ saying Yelawolf is an Eminem clone, why cause hes white?...i agree that threads like these make the site look bad, but so does catergorizing every white rapper as an Eminem clone...in your defense, its not just you or this site for that matter - its the general perception of a white person wanting/liking to rap...i get a look (as if to say "really?") and then i get asked if im trying to be Eminem - religiously...morale of the story, i think you need to listen to Yealwolf a little more
