Police have profiled me a lot. They stop me, half accuse me of things, and then move on. At the end of the day, I look like then guys who are committing the crimes, so if me being stopped for 5-10 mins is what keeps the place safe, I'm cool with it.

No way I'm reading all those pages, but I read the first and last. @EtH - I know where you are coming from when you wonder why its a race issue. I don't really see it as a racist issue. Only Zimmerman knows that I guess. What if a black guy killed a white guy the same way......It's the history. Thats why some people are upset. Other way around and its highly likely that the black guy gets punished one way or another. Add to this assumption, the amount of blacks that have been killed by police or otherwise and the killer gets off. I personaly think racism is wanting a race extinguished or kept under control, rather than see all races as equal. It is what it is.

Yeah I have NO idea about the case other than debating on Zimmerman's side for my own fun . But yeah it annoys the fuck out of me too. Half of these people probably would record the trial, and then fast forward to the end to find out if they should be mad or not.

So in this ONE instance of someone being killed, races not even being a factor, ALL black teens are now condemned to a life of injustice and potential murder? I just hate the strong attempts at racial segregation people do. Millions of people of all races get acknowledged for stuff they do, even more don't. It's not a race thing, it's not a media thing, it's just...a thing. This whole Trayvon shit is just another case of a teen being killed. Lets say Zimmerman is guilty for the purpose of this conversation. A teen getting murdered is horrible of course. But why are these people only finding it horrible when it's a black teen killed? Why was it not a big deal to them when Timmy Smith, the white kid from Nebraska got killed too? Where is their twitter homages to Timmy? You didn't come into the thread like "these particular black people that I've seen on twitter are never as outraged when it happens to a white teen." You came in the thread like "why are black people only outraged when it comes to their own?" No one can argue with your personal experience. If what you've personally experienced is that every black person you've ever encountered on twitter are x, then unless I know every black person you've ever encountered on twitter, and that they are truly x, I can't debate with you. But when you state is as "how come black people...x" without limiting the variable, it becomes a blanket statement and will always come off as ignorant or racist to someone.
