That kick was fuckin great.. if they set up that fight w/ GSP later this year & he runs through him, than he'll be remembered as the greatest MMA fighter in history .. 'cos honestly if you aren't roided up or he isnt injured he'll fuck you up .. & he lost his first fight ever, also lost twice in pride (once injured), & got DQ'd against yushin okami

Haymaker, in saying that him losing to that submission is bullshit, you have to take into account any fight where Silva was not winning but pulled out an unexpected KO.

I can't wait to see how it goes with GPS. Silva, who is probably the best striker in the UFC, is incredibly hard to keep down. GSP is great at keeping people down. GSP does have a chance if he can try and weigh down on him, but being the smaller man, although not by much, will make this an even harder task. I would have loved for belfort to KO him though lmao. Silva is mma's Mayweather, except he doesent pretend he's amazing, as he is. Usually dudes like Silva would fight independant or in strikeforce, the UFC are lucky to have him.

I, like the leader of the Boxing > MMA campeign, am actually starting to side with MMA more anyways. UFC, the most corrupt company in all of MMA, is still soooooo much better than boxing's politics. GSP and Silva WILL happen, and there will be no major issues regarding it aside other obligations, which Dana can sort out himself. Also, Silva Vs Belfort is two of the best against each other. Boxing rarley sees a great opponant Vs a similarly great opponant.

Hopfully Fedor can now punctuate his cause for being the greatest of all time also.
