Ways YOU can help LB get new members:

Advertise on YouTube:
With the new YouTube/google+ partnership, there is no captcha system. This means you can post as many comments as you want without having to type tedious captchas over and over again. What I personally do is go on beat videos where people usually rap, and post a small verse to get people to click the "read more" button, then at the end I'll post something along the lines of:

"I see you guys here all the time, if you want to upload tracks or rap battle people visit Letsbeef.com, hit me up if you need help; my username is Crysis."

Buying advertisements:
I just did this a few hours ago, if you have the money (Usually around 15-30 USD) then most popular website's have a banner ad placement program where you can put up banners which are coded with a link upon clicking. I just put one up on YouTube (Can't post the banner I made right now, I'm at nightclasses at the moment.) so if you see a LB banner on youtube you know what's good

You can do this with many sites, and to be honest it's the best way to handle advertising in my opinion. I was going to just donate it directly through the donor program, but I have no clue where that money goes & really wanted to benefit the site rather than just give money to you guys (No offense meant though, I just have no clue where it goes & wanted to help out.)

I have to go right now, but I'll post a lot more when I get home.

I'd advertise like fuck if I thought any suggestions I've made would even be taken into account. I honestly wouldn't suggest that someone right now should come to LB because the members have only been able to go so far for like 5 years. Where is the actual website going? Is it actually forward?

What are the plans right now? Why is it always some big surprise instead of just being open with what you guys are doing, or is that just a cover-up for not doing much at all? What's honestly going on in the background in terms of bettering the website?

I see some good things that have happened. Radio is alright. New player. The little voting thing.

But I mean business moves. Things that make the website 'different'. We've all seen it and done it on LB, and nothing is different. LB has been completely devoid of innovation for ages. There's nothing to advertise really. Ideally it'd be nice if you could just go around blasting this website everywhere and suddenly the number of people on here doubles, triples, etc...

But when people come on here and see how dead the environment is, and how unappealing and dated the site looks, they'll be turned off to it. I've said it time and time again, you gotta spend money to make money...Not in the form of paid advertisements, rather, revamping the entire site and adding new features

A while back change after change was being made...The new audio player, social media features, ability to download battles

LB needs to go down THAT path again...Except LB needs to bang out some theme/skins along with revamping the navigation bar. The site has had the same look for years. Especially now that Conceited & Charron blew up, rap fans from everywhere have and are checking out this site from time to time. Seeing how little its changed over the course of 6 years turns people off. Seeing a completely re-designed site with the features that we want (If we want it chances are they do too) is gonna bring in new ppl

Not everyone will be turned off to it, some, like me will see the potential it has and attempt to do something about it even if it's on as small of a scale as my contributions.

When we say it looks dated we don't mean we've simply gotten used to it, the skin literally looks old & bland. A skin upgrade would be great, for the first thing people see on the site is the skin so naturally it'll heavily contribute to people staying or leaving. Next comes mechanics & diverse/unique features and I think we have those, so the skin is really the biggest deal in terms of user decision making based on it alone..



personally I think there should be a wide variety of skins that could be changed in the cp, so if you don't like what we have now you can just fuckin' change it. A GFX contest would EASILY get this done, and the coding is more than possible to implement..

It looks dated to anybody in the Hip-Hop community thats on point when it comes to battling, because obviously when you have names like Con, Charron, & Fresco thrown around with Letsbeef, an avid fan'll do their due dilligence and log onto the site to what its about

Basically unless you've been living under a rock this looks dated to EVERYBODY. Because the niche the site attracts is the same demographic that'll actually look online for a site like Letsbeef.
