I'm not specifically into the conscious shit, it's just that you, I, and most of the people on here are capable of writing songs better than 99.999% of people on the planet. But your track is one in a billion with absolutely nothing defining or different from the other gazillion aspiring rappers with a 2017 sound.

You can combine both. Lil Dicky, while I don't listen to him, does that 2017 shit that I hate but at least keeps it lyrical when he's not rapping about a specific topic.

Guns, money, bitches and haters....leave that type of rapping to the Soulja Boi's of the world who don't have the actual talent to elevate beyond it.
