This is spot on.

The type of bars I'm talkin' bout would be considered 'struggle bars' or the 'street shit' that aren't so much punchline based, but more hit em' where it hurts type shit.

Can't remember the exact battle but Chess is goin against somebody who hits him w 'Bet you never cut a plastic bottle to make a bowl' or something along those lines. & that shit hit hard cause Chess is somebody who's known for those type of bars.

Now, that approach does not work on here, even if done right because people are punch drunk. You'd be lucky if a few people fucked w it, when it's actually dope. Idk, I know it's just my opinion but figured I'd throw it out there.

All you need is a punch to win. I’ve tried so many different styles just to be told I’m not following the format lol. But that’s really why I don’t battle much.

This is unfortunately true. It's weird to cuz I could write a verse here that people think is dope. Then head over to Netcees and drop the same verse and they will all say its ass. It does pidgeon hole your style and that's unfortunate.

Netcees is ass period lol. They’re the most simpleton mfs I’ve ever seen in my life. Then and Rap Royalty. Never really battled on either. Probably some throw away bars but the shit that win battles is so bad. That’s one thing I can say about Letsbeef is that we’re more skilled here. Even though LB only look for punches and a build up behind it no matter how bad the build up is, still better than netcees haha.
