old Eminem was raw. Had Eminem remained as consistent as he was in the early 2000's I'd have never made this thread. I've always been a huge Eminem fan. I've listened to every album and almost every freestyle...to the point that my iPod had like the same Eminem freestyle 3 times on 3 different beats..duplicate songs, etc.

now that I'm older, I can step back & look at his entire body of work and say hey...this dude aint as good as i always thought he was. he's good, def. just not Top 10 good imo....now had this been 8 yrs ago he'd be in it. shit, even 2-3 months ago he was in it. I just came to this conclusion after really givin it thought

Im a huge fan of his newer shit to be honest and im not biased as I grew up on his old shit!

His new shit is just more complex and takea a couple more listens to "get it" imo.

Saying Eminem isn't top 10 is appalling. Most record sales ever, is probably the most respected rapper in the game, ''No one fucks with the white boy'' as Game said before. You're just a shit stirrer, it's dumb. There's no evidence you can conclude to put him out of the top 3 of all time.
