just cause he got more radio plays isn't a reason.

Name a song outside of Stan that was really about anything other than some shit about his life (made up or not) or some killing a chick shit. Jay can do storytelling, chick songs, songs about the hood, songs about his peoples, songs about the dope game, songs about the rap game, songs about balling, club songs, conceptual songs...he's waaay more well rounded

so you can have 11 number one albums and STILL be super respected in almost every group of fans from backbackers to the hip pop crowd and have no skills? Em is tactically better in certain technical aspects, Jay is a better, MORE WELL ROUNDED, overall emcee....that's a fact

Your point was that selling a lot of records = respect from a large number of "crowds", yet as I pointed out, several people have sold many records without having the skills you have implied are necessary to have enough respect to sell the number of records he has.
