This is just my personal experience talking, but alot of the guys I know in real life who were very pro-Treyvon are the same guys that have "STOP SNITCHING" in their facebook profile pictures and shit like that. These same guys are the guys that are hoping for witness after witness to testify against Zimmerman. tell me how thats different from snitching? snitching is just a term used to describe someone who is getting someone else in trouble with the law. the same "DONT SNITCH" guys are the same guys wanting Zimmerman behind bars, how is that done?? thats done by people who are "SNITCHING" on him in court.
alot of these guys are just losers who use this snitching campaign as a way to seem tough, when in reality everyone does it for their own needs. if you truly believe in that life then you wouldnt be advocating for people testifying against Zimmerman, cus that is by definition "snitching".
what happened after he was acquitted? nothing.
cus everyone is all talk man, even the people who are "anti-snitch" rely on the justice system. if they were legit and believed in this "no snitching" thing then zimmerman would be dead already.
the reality is when youre a criminal its you VS the law
and if you lose that battle and you find yourself in a cell then you have no one to blame but yourself for losing that battle

true shit...
i actually kinda followed this case...so the main witness....Trayvonn's friend...she did damn near everything she could to AVOID being a witness for the very reason you see those people with the 'stop snitching' shit. she didnt want to be a part of it...even as a friend..she would rather play the sidelines.
i think alot of the outrage surrounding this particular case came from the lack of police investigation, and the incapacity of the local judicial system to adjudicate this situation with any effectiveness...i mean it took Sharpton and those dudes to even get charges filed. Not to mention the evidence was nearly entirely circumstantial, so there wasnt really that 'eye witness' that saw how everything unfolded.
so i think that the 'anti snitch' folks get frustrated because whether you rely or believe in the system or not..it should still work. its like taxes...i hate taxes...and if i chose not to pay them...i would still be pissed if someone who did pay them wasnt getting the services that the taxes are used to pay for them. but its even worse when not only does that system NOT work for some..it OVERLY works for others...meaning that some parts of the population are OVER searched, OVER charged, and OVER sentenced.
in the end, no, there wasnt riots, but i there were some peaceful sit ins and a little bit of political momentum...
plus anyone threatening to riot over Trayvon just doesnt get it anyway..and are likely the same kids talking about GTA 5 causing 9/11 because the illuminati have time machines n shit lol
