I wouldn't agree with that. I would say he is the slickest Scottish fighter but is still more rough than slick. He's Scottish! Lol.
To be fair, for a division that could be full of slick fighters, there isn't many at all. Domestically there's probably only Anthony Crolla in the top ten that could be classed as a slickster and he isn't particularly slick, that's never been Joe Gallagher's style

Yeah Ricky burns is slick .... He's really hard to hit but when he does get hit he has a solid chin .... He doesn't get many knockouts But it's not cuz he can't punch... He's already moving away as he throws his punches so he's not sitting down on them getting full force into them... But trust me ... He CAN punch ... He traded more in his earlier fights ... The way he fights retreating like that is deceiving... Most people who fight like that have a weak chin ... But rickys chin is one of the best in boxing...Been going to his fights since his debut on the undercard when Audley Harrison fought at the Kelvin hall ... He caught my eye then and I've been impressed as hell by how he's grown ... I used to meet him at McDonald's in the Braehead shopping centre every single time he fought... First thing he does after a fight is grab a big mac meal ... He still does to this day... Lol ... Cuz of the fact that from early on I had always spoken to him since I recognised him from his debut, it got to the stage he assumed he knew me from somewhere from before he was a pro.. Lmao ... never get the chance to talk to him these days since he became world champion .... But the atmosphere in the Kelvin Hall was electric the night he won his first world title against Martinez ... I won a lot of money that night.... Best atmosphere I've ever witnessed ... And I've been to a LOT of fights... Everything from ... Mike Tyson to Ricky hatton .. David haye .. Air khan.. Scott Harrison .. Joe Calzaghe ... Nothing tops that night though

I didn't say it was THE best .... I said its ONE of the best ... Like I said his style is deceiving .. The way he moves away is similar to how somebody with a glass chin would fight ... But his chin is solid... He's never been in trouble after taking a solid punch ... When he was down against Martinez he was more caught cold in the first round... He wasn't shaken or worried in the slightest... Just got up and kept going like it didn't happen ... Why get hit if you don't need to? .... Trading punches is stupid.... Mayweather doesnt let him self get hit .. And he also has a solid chin

In no way did he duck Boner.... He was struggling with the weight ... Ricky would honestly fight anybody ... He hated that situation and went in with the hardest puncher available in the weight above
If you go to his next fight ... You'll see me there .... I'm surprised he doesn't have a fight lined up already ... He's probably had more defences than any other champion has in the time since he's been champion.. He used to fight every month... He once fought in a Chinese restaurant in Glasgow cuz there was no venue available ... Lol
