First off. I was listening to Can years ago. Even had a few of his albums. All that Lyrical Miracle Metaphysical crap was cool as a kid.
But you grow up. Nobody wanna hear a bunch of jumbled up borderline scientific mumbo jumbo.
Which brings me to my second point. The only reason Can never "sold out" is because he simply wasn't good enough to make any decent money out of rap because again, Nobody wants to hear that shit. Then he got on some lame bitter twisted shit and started dissing any Tom dick or Harry who was getting a little bit of shine. TO GAIN ATTENTION.
The guys corny. He even dissed Premier on some school girl shit. And recently dropped a track on J Cole. I can't respect that. May e he should start respecting the fans and the genre instead of disrespecting the very same audience by going after it's pioneers on some childish bullshit. The guy is a washed up lame with no respect for anyone but himself. Fuck Canibus. Respect isn't a given. It's earned. And respect can just as quickly be removed by pulling the countless bitch moves he's pulled over the last decade.
And Diz would not look bad next to Can in a studio. Hahahaha. Diz would more than likely do what Can does topically only 10 times better.
It's far harder to do what Diz does on the live circuit than it is to do what Can does in the studio.
