In my first year when I was cutting grass I only had I think three rich neighbourhoods.
And whoever made the comment that grass only need to be cut once a year. You're a complete retard. Unless thats the way it is waether wise or wtv where you live. but round here in the spring/summer its once a week. I dunno, maybe our grass is on steroids but I never heard of cuttin your grass once a year.

A) We dont specialize in cutting grass. That was my first year with my business. Second year we specialize in strictly interlock driveways, gardens and retaining walls.
B) I have 365 clients for the winter season coming for snow removal and we dont do one client a day you morons. Lmfao cant believe I have to explain this.. I've got 6 guys with me right now, looking to hire three more. So includeding me there will be 10 of us out there getting 365 homes done when we got a snowfall. We only go out when there is 5cm of snowfall or more. Anything less its not worth it. So with 10 of us thats around 35ish houses each and doing one clients driveways/walkway takes no more then 10minutes.
C) No Jason it doesnt depend on how hard the work is.. Its a flat rate price. I dont care if you got a single car driveway, you're paying the price for the season that everyone else is paying.. plus thats where I make my money.

Wait, hold up.
let's do some basic math.
365 clients on snow removal.
Okay, let's assume you guys go three and three...you spend say..ten minutes per house..good chance its' more than that, but w/e.
that's 3650 minutes raw.
divided by 60 that's about 61 hours worth of work.
split that in two that's 30 some hours of work per team. Just work right there.
Add in say, just three minutes of travel between stops and we have..
1095 minutes raw.
Which is about 18 MORE hours on the job.
which is about 39 hours of work per team. I'm seriously trying to be generous.
If you guys work ten hour days then it will take FOUR days for somebodys shit to get cleaned off.
If you work THIRTEEN hours a day that's still three days worth of work. Not including lunches, breaks, w/e.
Who's gonna pay to get their shit cleaned off three days later?? You guys would have to work like two days straight to even get this shit remotely close to marketable. Seriously.
If you guys go solo it's still like 14 hours worth of work, not including the fact it's then inefficient, because your paying for six fucking vehicles to get around.
give it up man.
Should have gone to school

Good lord.. I thought you kids were highly educated.
Ok, there is 10 vehicles/workers in total. With 365 houses/driveways to clear off. A driveway takes 10minutes max if not less (Dont say you doubt something when you know absolutely nothing about it). I've done snow removal once before way back under a contractors wing and i was on a tractor with a blower n it only takes 2-3 passes to clear the driveway. Now that i think about it, 10minutes a house was pushin it. But wtv, lemme do the math for ya genius.
10 workers, 365 clients on 10min a client.
Each worker is doing 36 clients.. Ill take on the remaining 41.
So 36 clients at 10mins a piece. So multiply 36 jobs by 10 and you get 360minutes which would be 6 hours.
Travel time aint nothin.. Houses are close together. Plus 10mins a house was over the top. It should only take 5mins-8mins tops!

Oh, you have ten now. I thought you said it was six???
whatever.and all the houses must be REAL close, right??
and your math is still retarded.
550 dolllars for all year....
365 people..
$200,750
You said your gonna make 85 thou doing snow removal???
9 employees at ten bucks an hour. 900 dollars per hour total.
Okay, let's take you at your word. Six hours per snow. Let's say it snows a whole.....ten times a season. It's probably going to be more than that, but lets figure it out. That's a whole fifty four thousand dollars.
54,000 in wages.
Your down to 146,750
So your getting around somehow. Let's assume your using a snowblower or something.
. Let's say each persons snowblower uses only five gallons of gas per snow. (Hint: they use more).
If gas is 2.50 a gallon... Five gallons is 12.5 dollars. times ten is 125. times ten removals is 1250
$145500
Snowblowers or whatever your using are expensive too. Let's say you replace two a year. let's say they are 400 each.
800 there.
$144700
Miscelaneous expenses, lets say they are around 1500 dollars a person. That's everything, paperwork, repairs, wherever.
15,000
129,700.
You can't keep all that, some of it's going to go into a corporate account.
Let's say your a miserly little fellow and put only fifteen perecent into a corporate account. Most small business owners do more than this because of the failure rate of them.
$19455
Canadien small buisness exemption tax is 11% you should qualify.
$14267
those two are $33722
Your down to 95,978
Your going to get taxed at 26% according to canadien tax code.
$24,954
$71,024
And this is generous. This is assuming you don't pay anybody other than when you clear snow. 1500 for repairs, paperwork, and the miscelaneous per guy is probably unrealistic as well.
even so, your coming well short of your 85 thou. You lose. If you want, I can even pull out canadien tax codes and the whatnot to show your wrong. Give it up.

I said I have 6 right now from landscaping but im getting 3 more for the snow removal. So its 10 including myself. So 9 wages to pay not 10.
Im not worried about fuel because I buy in bulk. I dont pay what motorisys pay at a gas station. I save a lot on fuel expense through Stinson gas with the stationary fuel tank I got at my house outside.
Also, my bookie takes care of all my taxes and shit so no need to worry there. (Ps. If you ever come to Ottawa maybe i'll hire you as my bookie)
Also if you read all my posts, i was ball parkin 85,000 nd just hoped i would get that. If I dont, I dont. But remember I have 365 clients as of now and the snow hasnt flew yet.. So plenty more can sign up.
And I love how you totally tried to pull a move on me again when I outwitted your first post.
Move on kid, dont try and tell me how to run a successful business.
