It's no contest. Ok, there are some pretty good lyrical english rappers, if you can get past the whole high pitched underwater accent they have going on. But really, just think into it a little more, US pretty much wins on every catagory. It's not even a bragging situation, US is rediculously bigger, it pretty much has 50 UK's inside it, so it's pretty expected really. For the UK to put up any form of a fight, is pretty impressive. But for those claiming equality, just look at it; USA has like 10 good rappers in every genre of the industry. You have your punchline rappers, meaningful rappers, story telling rappers, commertial rappers, political rappers, underground rappers. Each of this 10 I mean, is better than everyone in the UK pretty much. All time, just the top names clearly smash anyone ever from the UK. Slick Rick? He's a legend, but pretty much never touched top 10 lists. Current? AOTP, Nipsie, J Rock, Souls of Mischief, Eminem etc...And I don't even like current US rap. Overall, why make a thread like this? It's like making a thread saying "Hey, anyone think RULE is underrated?" or "Anyone think X is too talkative?".
