I write in something called Microsoft OneNote, but I write the last couple of bars in the actual text box to make sure the characters fit just enough.

I use an app to write in off site because the text box on site is fucking terrible to write in. It always scroll down when typing so I can't see what the fuck I'm writing. It also has a tendency to delete entire words when editing what I have written. Like, if I got back to change my wording when I try to back space and enter a new word it removes the next word instead. It's very frustrating to use. There are plenty of other apps/programs to write in and then just copy and paste your verse.

For battles:
Usually in Open Office/Microsoft word first then transfer to the text box once done.

For tracks:
Write them down on paper.
