I think while it's the beginning of the year, it's the best time to do it. And the list shouldnt be to extensive so It can be done and over with fairly quickly...I'll even put 200 credits as a reward. I've got the credits to back it up. But we gotta jump on it and start looking for participants.

I can add 500 credits to that. We'd need a list of active battlers who joined in 2019 though. Thoughts from staff? @Autograph @IAmFlow @Rai @RULE This could even be run as a forum tournament since I'm really doubtful there'd be over 16 sign-ups.

Based on the criterion used in 2018 afaik, we would have the following:

1. Kiwi Peewee
2. Wolf King
3. Zezmeril
4. IIAM
5. Saaxxx Baba
6. MCRattle
7. KingVA

10. Squammy
11. M11STRYKER
12. Audible-Rain

Also possibly 13. Straw Hat and 14. Proff, I don't know if these accounts are genuinely new though.

A few of the accounts I've listed above (i.e. Zezmer) had a previous account years ago for a brief spell and had a handful of battles, but were basically starting from scratch when they rejoined in 2019, so as per last year's policy (@ someone to confirm plz) they would be allowed to join and I doubt anyone would begrudge them that chance. Assuming just about everyone I've named shows, I reckon this is enough to warrant running the tournament, even if it were done through the forums.

I'm also not too concerned about vet sleeper accounts in this tourney, because if an account that has been consistently dismal suddenly elevates wildly that will be a giveaway and they'll get DQ'ed, and since I think this would be a reasonably strong field I doubt a sleeper account would be able to win it without giving themselves away.
