How's Power?
I've seen Orange is the New Black, Narcos, Fear the Walking Dead and Jessica Jones already, those are some great shows.
Black Panther is dope man, you should watch it tonight then Ready Player One if you haven't seen that already.
lol @ the P.S. IDK man, I didn't think Community or Scorpion were overly feminine, Grey's Anatomy is but I just started watching that last year. I heard iZombie's good.

I thought Dexter was very solid, but honestly, I'm not spoiling anything when I say...expect the absolute worst from the ending. If you hold it to the concept of "the ending could ruin the show" it absolutely will. Hold the show on an episode by episode basis cause the ending makes Sopranos look amazing.
Power is...okay. End of the second season was pretty good. Couple of angles. But it's kind of hard because you don't root for anyone. Everyone is sort of a cunt in it. Compared to Sons of Anarchy where you kind of got behind everyone by the end and were a fan of each character, you kind of hate everyone in Power. Easy watching though.
I was going to see Ready Player One for my birthday yesterday but we slept in and missed the early listing. Got too drunk before the next listing so patched it. Might go in the next few days.
I dunno if they are "feminine" but just shows I hadn't even heard of before. Scorpion is in the "criminal minds" "house" "csi" bracket where every episode is the exact same thing and it follows an exact formula every time. I was never really a fan of those shows.
My girl's watched 12 seasons of Grey's Anatomy in 2 months, doing my fucking head in haha.
iZombie is meh. Okay I guess? I wouldn't watch it but I'm more guns and explosions.
The Keepers was fucked up and great. American Vandal was hilarious. The Killing was great. Struggling to enjoy Altered Carbon. Need to catch up on Mr Robot which I was 50/50 on.
EDIT: As a software dev I keep getting told to watch Silicon Valley.

I didn't know you're a software developer. I'm planning to go into the same field, any advice for a brother?
(Although I'd rather be a software ENGINEER, because ENGINEER sounds cooler and smarter.)

Well, I'm not, so...there's that haha. I've been coding on and off since 2009, but because of constant fuck ups along the way, I'm still at square one in terms of education. Haven't worked on anything comprehensive. Couple of bucks for a game and done some open source projects, but not deep into anything.
I'm not sure what my advice would be long term anyway. Anything that seems like cliche advice, I go against anyways. "Plan out everything beforehand? Nah, jump in headfirst and figure out as you go".
I just click with coding. Always have. You done anything yet? If so, what languages have you worked with? I'm probably going to use software dev to eventually return to gaming, which was my original path.

Dont know app inventor. Had to do a tiny bit of HTML and Css recently (done a few years of it in the past). Always hated it.
I'm using Java and c# right now. Used c++ in the past. Thinking of maybe trying python in the summer.

App Inventor is surprisingly robust for what it is, i.e., basically the Android version of Scratch, but it's immensely less powerful than a "real" programming language.
Java Programming is probably the course I'll be taking next semester. I'm looking forward to it. C# I guess is the real-language equivalent of App Inventor since I hear it's primarily for developing advanced applications.

I used Android Studio and Java for phone applications (android studio SUCKS) and Visual Basic for some different kinds of applications in C#. Both are very similar languages.
Things like Scratch or Blueprints in Unreal Engine are great for teaching "coding logic", which I think is the strongest skill.

I'm a software engineer, graduated college in 2017. make 60k in a low cost of living place.
Also recently got accepted to an online masters in Comp.Sci program at a top 10 CS school (in the US) so will be doing that while I work.
