Post The Might Of Superior Voting Power

There are many factors that decide a battle:

The battle format of the two competing opponents.
The number of voters that participate in deciding the outcome of the battle.
The agenda of the voters that came to express their preference for a battler.
But of all these factors there is one that consistently and supremely stands above all them.
And that is Voting Power.

Voting Power is the inherent possession of controlling influence that is bestowed upon each member upon sign-up. It is the singular quality that cannot be taught but raised or lowered depending on the subjects’ suspected abilities.

Unfortunately, that does not mean that those members with a high amount of VP are good voters. On the contrary, it has been consistently proven that there is a high percentage of people with humble voting abilities that have yet to have their voting power, or VP, reduced.
It is known that the VP of a member can be reduced by reporting that member to the staff. The knowledge of its ability and effect has driven some members to use that to their advantage.

The Fair Voters Club, an advanced voting organization made up of members considered to be consistently great voters, strives to address many of these problems and implement a balanced and healthy voting environment on a daily basis.
But the actual VP of a member is not the only power that influences the outcome of a battle.

Another driving factor is the vote itself, which, for the better or the worse, in almost all cases, reveals the intention, agenda and/or chosen winner of the voter. The explanation and reasoning of the vote, also called expo, can usually be dissected by succeeding voters and greatly influence their decision. It is especially favorable to members that are in need of credits, accepted form of currency required to respond to currently open battle challenges, and as such use easily susceptible expos to their advantage to replicate the vote of the expo’s yielder.

Murdah Mook recently addressed the fan’s might of superior voting power in his most passionate podcast episode to date. “It is the fans that control the battle”. He went on further to say that there is a high amount of people that do not seem to have any plausible reasoning behind their votes and opinions and that those that do make their opinions known, form the mass that is then accepted as the fact of any outcome of a battle. “There are these people with a voice on the internet without qualifications and they pass their opinions and it becomes valid. It’s online so it must be true. We do not know if a nine year old is behind the keyboard and once he expresses his opinion it becomes true”.

His reasonably well asserted opinion was made out of anger and frustration faced with the rise of social networking platforms resulting in the fans abilities of casting persuading and everlasting opinions, long after the olden days of “just rapping”.
It is a good point, however due to the power of the social platforms and their high probability of long lasting prevention of an early demise, it is an obligation of both the battlers and the voters and/or fans to make sure in finding common ground.
As Benjamin Parker once said: “With great power comes great responsibility”.
